Chocolate - Good during pregnancy

Just stumbled upon this news article as I was searching the internet. I didn't know that chocolate specially the dark ones can help get a healthy pregnancy. According to a study conducted at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut pregnant women who consumed the most chocolate like five or more servings each week during their third trimister of pregnancy were 40 percent less likely to develop preeclampsia than those who ate chocolate less than once a week. Lice as Art?

Yay! Just reading this odd news made my head itch so bad. It grossed me out and couldn't imagine how these seven German young artists from Berlin are trying to stretch the boundaries of art by living in an Israeli museum for three weeks with lice in their hair. Online Flashcards

When I was in the Philippines, I used to tutor grade school children in their reading. They are more interested to learn and paid more attention in learning if they saw colorful objects that’s why I used flashcards to increase their interest and make it more fun specially in reading or Math subjects. Studies showed that the best way to learn even memorize anything is by using flashcards. Way back then, I used flashcards that you can get from the bookstores which pieces of colorful cardboards with colorful objects and letters or numbers on it. But now, I found out that you can use flashcards online. How cool is that? It will be easier and learning will be a lot more fun for children. This is a free website that everybody can use to help improve your child’s grades. What’s more nice about this website is that you can create your own flashcards and add pictures and sound on them, you can also share with others because it’s a social networking site like facebook or myspace. Check flashcardfriends.com now and find out more about it. It’s absolutely free to sign up.

It's Windy here

It's another windy day here. The sun is warm and bright but the wind is blowing furiously. I could hear whistling sound of the wind and the movements of the trees and the leaves. It's gonna be dusty outside. I don't like when it's windy because it makes me feel cold and chilly even if the sun is shining brightly.

Antipersperant more effective when applied at night

Antiperspirants can be made more effective by applying them at night. People often complain about their antiperspirant not working. One trick of the trade is to apply the antiperspirant to a dry underarm just before heading to bed. You can still apply it again in the morning. But make sure that your antipersperant contains no aluminum because New research suggests that the aluminium in many anti-perspirants has a potential link with breast cancer.

Shangri La Botanical Gardens

I am a nature lover and I love flowers and plants. I grew up and live most of my life in a tropical country where trees, plants and flowers grow everywhere all year long and there is a lot of places, resorts and botanical gardens to visit and enjoy the beauty of nature. It was a big change for me when I came here in Colorado because it is the opposite of where I used to grow up with, though I find this place beautiful too because of the rocky mountains surrounding us. Sometimes I still miss looking at those beautiful green surroundings, going to places that has so many plants and colorful flowers. I would love to be in these places again.

Every place has it’s beauty and pride to offer and if you are a nature lover check this out Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in Orange, Texas is one of the best places to visit if you want to enjoy and explore the beauty of green nature of the gardens. Shangri La receives the Platinum Certification for LEADERSHIP IN ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION (LEED®-NC). Shangri La Botanical gardens and Nature Center is the first project in Texas and the 50th in the world to earn such award from the U.S. Green Building Council's Platinum Certification .

There are a lot of things Shangri La has to offer, unwind yourself with it’s eco friendly nature, learn about it’s history on how this gardens have been developed in more than 60 years, see their 300 species of flowers and plants, experience the wonder of the natural world. It is a place for everybody to enjoy and learn at the same time.

If you want to learn more about other things Shangri La Gardens have to offer visit their website now.

Early Morning Shopping...

Hubby and I went to bed early because we were so tired during the day and besides hubby woke up so early Tusday morning. It's his first day off and he is supposed to be in bed during the day since that is his sleeping hours because he works 6 pm to 6 am. Anyways, since we slept early and hubby's used to be up and wide awake at night. We woke up at 1 am, hubby said if I am ready for "Wally World" that's what he usually names for Wal-Mart to shop and do some grocery. The good thing about Wal-Mart is that they are open 24 hrs and we love to go there specially at night down to early morning because only few people are there.

Ok, I got to go Wally World is calling....

Good Morning!!!!!

morning

Good morning friends!!! How's your morning so far? Mine is great because today hubby start's his days off from work and that'sgonna be 3 days in a row. How cool is that? It's going to be fun spending time with hubby. We will start our day with a get together lunch with my mom-in-law and stepdad-in-law at 1:30 pm. We are going to watch jackie Chan's movie "Forbidden Kingdom" probably tonight. Do grocery, meet with some friends and just goof around. When hubby's off work, we mostly spend our time together outside because he doesn't want to stay in the house. He prefers to go out, shop, eat, take a road trip than stay in the house the whole day.

Better get going and do some cleaning before we leave. Happy blogging everyone!

Got my first pay from PPP

Wow! What a great day to start the week! Just got an email notice from PayPerPost that they have paid me for the very first post I made with them. That's my first pay from PayPerPost and I told hubby that I got paid today and he was happy about it. I also checked my paypal account if they got it and there it appeared my payment from IZEA Inc. which is PayPerPost. It is indeed quick and easy money to earn with your blog with PayPerPost.

I'm looking forward for more payments this coming week. I'm getting more excited, hope I could grab more Opp's everyday.

It's Monday again...

It's another week to start, it's Monday again I know it's a drag to those who are working but to me Monday it's great! because today is the last day for hubby to go to work and tomorrow starts his 3 days off. We are both excited about it, we could spend more time together and go somewhere and just have fun being together.
